Social 30’s Charleston
Charleston can feel choreographed and stressful – we aim to change that! Taking inspirationfrom some historical clips like the justly famous ’A Day at the Races’ from 1937 we willexplore Charleston shapes that can be lead and followed comfortably on the social dance floor.

First Stops – Classic Routine
Come learn the classic ‘First stops’ routine with us! This short routine which nevertheless
combines Charleston, solo jazz and Lindy hop is great fun, challenging and forms the basis
of many performances to this day. It is one of the first examples of group choreography
originally created by Frankie Manning for the Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers.
